Santander zapre 140 poslovalnic - to je celoten seznam in kdaj bodo zaprti

Santander je dejal, da bo zaprl še 140 podružnic, s čimer bo ogroženo 1.270 delovnih mest. Banka pričakuje, da bo lahko prerazporedila približno tretjino tega števila.

Posojilodajalec je dejal, da so zaprtja odziv na to, kako se stranke odločajo za opravljanje svojega bančništva.

Santander se je o predlaganih spremembah posvetoval s sindikati in si bo prizadeval najti alternativne vloge za 1.270 prizadetih uslužbencev, kadar koli je to mogoče.

Santander je dejal, da bo po spremembah ostalo odprtih 614 poslovalnic. Banka je dodala imetnike tekočih in poslovnih računov, ki lahko uporabljajo tudi eno od več kot 11.000 poslovalnic pošte po vsej Veliki Britaniji.

„Zaradi tega smo morali sprejeti nekaj zelo težkih odločitev glede naših manj obiskanih podružnic in tistih, kjer imamo v neposredni bližini druge podružnice.

„Strankam, ki zapirajo podružnice, bomo pomagali najti alternativne načine bančništva pri nas, ki najbolje ustrezajo njihovim individualnim potrebam. Poleg svojih sindikatov sodelujemo tudi pri podpori kolegom pri teh spremembah in pri iskanju alternativnih vlog za prizadete, kadar koli je to mogoče. '

Santander je dejal, da se je število transakcij, izvedenih v podružnicah, v zadnjih treh letih zmanjšalo za 23%, medtem ko so se transakcije prek digitalnih kanalov v istem obdobju povečale za 99%.

Skoraj dve tretjini bančne mreže podružnic Združenega kraljestva je bilo v zadnjih 30 letih izgubljenih, analiza iz katere? predlaga.

Banke in gradbena društva so leta 1988 imeli 20.583 podružnic po parlamentarnih evidencah, vendar analiza potrošniške skupine ponudnikov tekočih računov kaže, da se je ta številka zdaj zmanjšala na 7.586 podružnic.
